As part of the Evening Standards food month we will be taking people on a beginners guide to foraging and the joys of collecting your own ingredients.
Join us for a walk through the local woods and grass lands learning the basics of urban foraging. This will start with a coffee and chat to introduce you to a few rules that we like to stick to when foraging. Then we are off into the local area for 1 hours collecting some easy to spot ingredients that are abundant in the Hackney Marsh. We will discuss the many ways you can enjoy these ingredients, what we are using in the restaurant now and in the coming weeks, why foraging is a sustainable and an enjoyable pass time that all the family can be involved in.
We finish the tour with an enjoyable light snack of what has been foraged seeing our efforts put into practice
