Whether you’re a homesick Scot or simply, a charlatan wondering what all the fuss is about, you won’t be disappointed with Shane’s take on a Burns Supper. To comemorate the life and work of Scotland’s iconic bard (poet) Robert Burns, best known for works like Auld Lang Syne, we’re serving up a bounty of Scottish delights, including home-made haggis, cullen skink and the Scot’s favourite pud, cranachan.
On Wednesday 22 November, we’re hosting our first Wild Game Night, where you can try a large selection of game, including rabbit, pheasant, partridge, wild pigeon, venison, salt-marsh duck and lobster. From 6pm onwards, groups of 4 or more will sit down to an unveiling of freshly caught game, which will be cooked and served on a platter to share. This bountiful sharing menu will also feature individual rabbit rillettes as an entree and a fish course to follow, comprising of a whole lobster. So get all your meat loving pals together for a night to remember, and ask yourself, are you game?!
Shane’s on Canalside is hosting its first Dog Day Out on Saturday 30th of September. The event is centred around Shane’s new 3 course dog menu, which comprises of only natural ingredients, thoughtfully combined to get tongues and tails wagging. Overlooking Regent’s canal, Shane’s canalside offers a pawfect vista, and champions our canine companions being ‘dog-friendly’ inside and out. In addition, the celebrated dog nutritionist, behaviourist, columnist and radio/tv personality, Anna Webb will be helping launch the menu at Shane’s and answering any doggy related questions; joined by dog photographer, Virginie Petorin, who will be taking photo portraits of your furry friends in her pop up studio throughout the day.

Wild Meat Butchery Course on Tuesdays – £85 per person
A great evening learning the skill of butchery to impress your friends. Shane will focus on wild meats like rabbit, deer & pigeon. You will learn about the cuts of meat, how to butcher and a demonstration of how best to cook it. The evening ends with a sit down group meal with amazing wines.
